Growing vegetables indoors, suggesting that the government distribute free vegetable seeds and fertilizers and issue planting guides. This will reduce the chances of people being infected by covid 19.

You can DIY your own container by repurposing storage bins or old plastic tubs, anything as long it doesn’t degrade and has a hole for proper drainage. Place a dish, saucer or something beneath so the excess drainage is captured and the place doesn’t get dirty.

For soil use indoor potting soil because it is specially formulated to help plants grow in indoor conditions or you can mix according to this recipe:

The biggest challenge growing plant indoors is the lack of light. If you have good amount of sunlight pouring in than that’s a relief but if not, supplement with grow lights. Vegetables need at least 4-6 hours of sunlight per day.

Water your plant less because the soil will not dry out more quickly than it does outdoors. Don't over water and mist the plant with spray bottle once in a while to keep them fresh.

The best thing about growing vegetables indoor is that you can grow them all year-round. It doesn’t matter whether it is snowing or sun fire heat outside.

Also, do try regrowing green onions, lettuce, and celery from scraps.

These are the top vegetables that have proven successful indoors:Potatoes,Tomatoes,Carrots,Radishes,Hot Peppers,Herbs,Green Onions/Scallions,Leafy Salad Greens,Microgreens,Mushrooms(Yea we know that Mushrooms are not a vegetable but in culinary definition they are. They are very easy to grow and do not need much sunlight. You can even grow them on coffee grounds and tea bags.)

Let's get it right that the corona virus is just some RNA wrapped in FAT!!! And it's fragile.

Anything that helps dissolve the fat can harm it. For example, higher temperatures and soap bubbles, 65%-75 alcohol. Let people know why they are doing all these so they can do it more purposefully and willingly.

Here is a guide to prevent COVID-19 infection during winter travel.

1.Winter is the high season of COVID-19, wearing mask can effectively block the close transmission of exhalation and droplets carrying COVID-19 viruses. But elderly, children, pregnant women will be likely to feel suffocating when wearing mask for too long, they can choose to wear a mask with a larger space at the mouth and nose but the edge closely fit the cheek/nose bridge. For eye protection, wearing glasses helps.

2.For food along the way, in order to reduce or even eliminate the exposure of the mouth and nose, it is recommended to try light and hygienic diet before departure, do not overeat, avoid greasy stimulation, so that the ride is simple and comfortable without obvious hunger and thirst. After getting on the road, close your eyes and rest, try to keep a relative distance from the surrounding passengers to avoid unnecessary contact. Take less meal but be quick, reduce the time of taking off the mask, strawed or liquid food is recommended.

3. Do not directly touch door handles and water taps of any kind during the ride, prepare a glove for this kind of situation.

4. it is best to wear comfortable & loose cloth (such as hoodies) which can shield you ear, hair, neck during the journey.

5. Leave as soon as possible after arriving. Minimize purposeless activities during the trip.

Virtual events

Holding large social gatherings like parties or trips, sports events, theatre performances, grad night, prom and weddings can bring individuals from multiple communities into close contact with each other and this can highly promote the spread of COVID-19 so, one should prefer replacing them with virtual events. Virtual events like video conference dance parties, virtual graduation ceremonies and meetings, virtual musical concerts and facetime hangouts with friends are some of the best possible alternatives to safely celebrate together.
